About/Resume

I grew up in the Pacific Northwest, and have over 10 yrs. experience working with clients to creatively promote businesses and organizations producing digital media for use in print, web, mobile devices, animation, and broadcast video..

I have a creative personality, and enjoy taking an idea from concept through production. I have continued to work in a variety of mediums, and have a traditional background in fine arts. I believe it is important to embrace new media technology into projects as it continues to develop and evolve.

I am highly skilled with Photoshop, Illustrator, Flash, and After Effects; as well as Final Cut Pro, DVD Studio Pro, Motion, and Lightwave 3D. I also have an intermediate skill level with HTML5/CSS3, and JavaScript. As a Multi-Media Producer with The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA)/The Pacific Marine Environmental Laboratory (PMEL) I worked closely with scientists and engineers as a designer, project manager, director, and media producer.

Things I also enjoy are reading Louis L’Amuor books, dubstep, santa fe mix in my eggs, samurai films, being barefoot, my family, people that are kind to others, things that are designed well, being outside, shirts that fit well, the color blue, Arial, free food...and running with scissors!
